There is a powerful opportunity before us to strengthen Catholic education across New York—and your voice matters right now. Governor Hochul must affirmatively opt New York into the Federal Scholarship Tax Credit for families and schools in Brooklyn and Queens to benefit. She needs to hear—early and often—that this program matters deeply to families, educators, and communities.
New York must formally opt in for this program to take effect here. This opportunity will not remain open indefinitely. Once the policy window closes, the opportunity closes with it.
